No-credit-check leasing

Do you really offer leasing without a credit check?

The initial no-credit-check lease enquiry does not use a traditional credit-score assessment. Affordability, identity, licence and supplier checks still apply. Every application is reviewed, and vehicle availability and supplier terms apply.

Does no-credit-check leasing guarantee approval?

No. We assess every application individually using the information you provide, your current affordability, identity and licence checks, supplier criteria and the availability of a suitable vehicle. Please provide complete and accurate information so we can review your enquiry properly.

Can I apply if I have CCJs or defaults?

Past credit issues do not automatically prevent you applying through the no-credit-check route. Applications are considered individually based on current affordability, licence status and supplier criteria.

Can I apply if I am self-employed, receive benefits or have variable income?

These circumstances do not automatically prevent you making an enquiry. We look at your current circumstances and affordability, alongside licence and supplier criteria. The team will explain any evidence needed for your application.

Do I need to choose a vehicle before I enquire?

No. You can start with Check My Options and tell us the type of vehicle, budget, term and mileage you need. We will confirm the available vehicle, figures and next steps in writing before you decide to proceed.

How long can I lease a vehicle for?

Typical terms range from 3 to 12 months. The term, mileage allowance and initial payment vary by vehicle and will always be shown before you commit.

Can I apply with a provisional or international driving licence?

No. The no-credit-check leasing route requires a valid full UK driving licence. Provisional and international driving licences are not accepted for this route.

Applying and documents

How do I get started?

Start with our short Check My Options enquiry. Tell us what you need, and the team will explain the appropriate route, documents and next step. A submitted enquiry is not an approval or a vehicle agreement.

What documents will I need?

For no-credit-check leasing, you will need a valid full UK driving licence, proof of address, a DVLA share code and your National Insurance number. Depending on the vehicle or supplier, we may also request proof of income or recent bank statements. Car-finance applications have their own secure document requirements, and the finance team will explain anything further that is needed.

Why do you ask for a DVLA share code?

A DVLA share code lets the team check the driving-licence information needed for a lease application. We will tell you when to create one and how to send it safely.

Why might you ask for proof of income or bank statements?

Affordability is part of the application review. The evidence requested can vary by vehicle and supplier, but it helps us understand whether the agreement is suitable and whether any further checks are needed.

What if I do not have every document yet?

Tell the team what you have available. We can explain the next step, but we may not be able to complete the review or confirm a decision until all requested information has been received.

How quickly will I receive a decision?

Many enquiries can be reviewed quickly once all requested information is available. Timing depends on the vehicle, supplier and completeness of your documents, so no specific approval time is guaranteed.

Can I change my details after submitting an application?

Yes. Contact the team with your application reference as soon as possible. Material changes may mean that we need to review the application again before a decision or vehicle confirmation can be made.

How do I check my application status?

Use the secure Check Status page with your FL4U application reference. It shows the current progress and, where relevant, lets you see whether the team needs more information.

How do I send additional documents securely?

If the team requests more information, use the secure document journey linked from Check Status. You may be asked to confirm the email address used on your application with a one-time code before uploading files.

Payments and your agreement

What does the monthly payment include?

Road tax, MOT and routine servicing are included on eligible lease packages. Insurance, fuel, damage, tyres and excess mileage are not included unless your written agreement says otherwise.

What does the £150 processing fee cover?

If your application is approved and you choose to proceed, the one-off £150 processing fee opens your account and begins vehicle-securing work. It is separate from initial rental, deposit, monthly rental, insurance and delivery unless confirmed in writing. Payment does not guarantee a specific vehicle, and the fee is non-refundable once that work has started, except where required by law.

What is the initial payment?

The agreed initial payment is shown on your vehicle offer. It can include the first rental payment, a deposit and any agreed administration charges. It is separate from items that are specifically stated as separate, so always check the written breakdown.

What will I need to pay before collection or delivery?

Before the vehicle is released, the team will confirm the exact initial payment, deposit, fees, insurance responsibility and delivery arrangements in writing. Do not rely on an estimate or a website listing alone.

Is insurance included?

Insurance is not automatically included. Your written vehicle offer and agreement will confirm whether insurance is included, who is responsible for arranging it, any excess and the drivers who are permitted.

When is my monthly payment due?

Your payment date and method are set out in your agreement and any payment schedule. If you are concerned about a payment, contact the team before the due date so we can explain the available next steps.

What happens if I exceed my mileage allowance or return the vehicle damaged?

Your signed agreement confirms the mileage allowance, excess-mileage rate and return condition. Charges may apply for excess mileage, damage, missing items, tyres, fines or other items outside fair wear and tear.

Can I cancel after I have applied?

Contact the team as soon as possible. The options, charges and any refund position depend on the stage of your application, whether processing or vehicle-securing work has begun and the written terms that apply.

Does paying a fee reserve a specific vehicle?

No. A vehicle is only reserved when the team confirms this in writing. Availability can change while checks, documents and vehicle-securing work are being completed.

Vehicle choice and delivery

Is every vehicle shown on the website still available?

Website listings are a guide to current offers. Stock, prices, specifications, initial payments, mileage, delivery times and inclusions can change, so we will confirm the exact vehicle and terms in writing before you commit.

Can you source a vehicle that is not listed?

Yes. Tell us the make, model, budget, term and mileage you need and the team can search its supplier network for suitable options.

Can I choose a different term or mileage allowance?

Tell us what you need. A different term or mileage allowance may be possible, subject to supplier criteria and vehicle availability. We will give you the revised figures in writing before you agree.

Can the vehicle be delivered?

Nationwide delivery may be available depending on the vehicle and supplier. Any delivery cost and timing will be confirmed before you commit.

Can I collect the vehicle instead?

Collection may be available for some vehicles and suppliers. The team will confirm whether it is possible, where collection would take place and what you need to bring before the appointment is arranged.

Can I use the vehicle for private hire, taxi work or deliveries?

Only if the written agreement and insurance expressly allow that use. Do not assume that private hire, hire-and-reward or delivery work is permitted; ask the team before applying or allowing the vehicle to be used that way.

How do I know exactly what is included with a vehicle?

Before you sign, check the written vehicle offer for its identity and specification, monthly and initial payments, term, mileage, included services, insurance responsibility, deposit, fees, delivery and end-of-agreement obligations.

During your lease

Can I extend or change my lease?

Extensions and vehicle changes may be available subject to supplier approval, vehicle availability and a fresh affordability review.

Can someone else drive my vehicle?

Only drivers who are permitted by your written agreement and insurance can drive the vehicle. Check with the team or insurer before another person drives it.

What should I do if the vehicle is damaged, stolen or involved in an accident?

Put safety first, follow the reporting steps in your insurance and vehicle agreement, and contact the relevant insurer, roadside provider or team promptly. Damage, insurance excesses and non-wear repairs may be chargeable under the agreement.

Can I take the vehicle outside the UK?

Only with the required written permission, insurance and vehicle documents. Contact the team before you travel so we can confirm what your agreement allows.

Can I return the vehicle early?

Early return can involve conditions or charges. Contact the team before making arrangements so we can explain the process that applies to your agreement.

What happens at the end of my lease?

The next step depends on your agreement and the available options at the time. The team can discuss a return, an extension or a replacement vehicle, with mileage and vehicle condition handled in line with the written agreement.

Car finance

Do you also arrange car finance?

Yes. Our car-finance service is separate from no-credit-check leasing. Finance applications are subject to lender credit checks, affordability checks, status and vehicle criteria. Future Lease 4 U acts as a credit broker, not a lender.

What is the difference between leasing and car finance?

No-credit-check leasing is a vehicle-use agreement with the vehicle returned at the end, subject to its terms. Car finance is a separate route, such as HP or PCP, where the lender sets the product, figures and approval decision.

Will a car-finance application involve a credit check?

Finance applications may involve lender credit, identity and fraud checks, as well as affordability checks. The lender's criteria, the vehicle and your circumstances determine the decision.

Who decides whether car finance is approved?

The lender makes the approval decision and sets the APR, deposit and other finance terms after its checks. Future Lease 4 U can help explain the application and available options, but cannot guarantee lender approval.

Do you receive commission for arranging car finance?

Future Lease 4 U acts as a credit broker and may receive commission from a lender when it introduces a finance application. Any applicable commission arrangement, its effect on the cost and the lender's terms will be explained in the finance disclosure and agreement before you commit. The lender, not Future Lease 4 U, makes the approval decision.

Will I own the vehicle with HP or PCP?

With HP, you own the vehicle after all payments and any option-to-purchase fee are complete. With PCP, there is normally an optional final payment if you want to keep the vehicle; return conditions and charges can apply. The lender's agreement sets the binding terms.

Account, privacy and support

Is my personal information and my documents kept secure?

We use your information to manage your enquiry or application and keep uploaded documents in private storage linked to your customer record. Access is limited to authorised staff. Read our Privacy Policy for full details of how information is used and protected.

How long do you keep my documents?

We keep application documents only for as long as they are needed to manage your enquiry, application, agreement, legal obligations or a complaint. They are held against the relevant customer record with access limited to authorised staff, then securely deleted or anonymised when no longer required in line with our Privacy Policy and retention schedule.

What if I have lost my FL4U application reference?

Contact us by email, phone or the contact form with your name, email address, mobile number and vehicle details. We will verify your details and locate the correct record. Never send identity documents, bank statements, passwords or security codes through ordinary chat while trying to recover a reference.

How do I make a complaint?

You can raise a complaint with the team by phone, email or through our Complaints Procedure. We log it, provide a reference and explain the responsible route, expected response and any relevant escalation rights.

How can I get help with a specific vehicle or application?

Call 01245 922 226, email sales@futurelease4u.co.uk or send the team a WhatsApp message. Have the vehicle name or your FL4U application reference ready so we can help more quickly.
